Overview:
This position is an opportunity for a bilingual Business Analyst/Project Lead to spearhead small and mid-sized IT implementation projects domestically and in South and Central America. The Project Lead will take an active role in tactical planning and execution in introducing critical software systems in new and existing client environments. He or she will become an expert in Titan software, understanding customer needs, and configuring highly-usable and reliable solutions. Common activities will include leading project status meetings, defining and managing project scope, client needs analysis, planning project work, creating weekly reports, end-user training, and managing small IT teams. This is a position for someone with a strong IT background, software business analysis experience, and a willingness to grow as a team and project manager. Light travel involved (5-20%).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create requirements documentation, project scope documentation, and project plans
• Review software specifications and enhancement requests in concert with customers
• Lend technical expertise and deductive reasoning skills to assist team members
• Manage small project teams during execution and proactively respond to changes
• Create regular team status reports
• Define and manage expectations of project stakeholders
• Manage time & cost throughout project lifecycle
• Work with customers to understand and define requirements
• Control changes in scope
• Adheres to company standards for progress & time reporting and internal work management systems
• Train end-users
• Serve as account liaison for select clients
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish. Reading and writing fluency in both languages is a must. Candidate should also be able to informally translate between the two.
• Professional confidence, initiative, and leadership abilities
• Power user of MS Office and software in general
• Ability to communicate with software developers, support technicians, project managers, and executives.
• Ability to multitask across several projects.
• Ability to lead external, client-facing projects.
• Experience leading or being a part of an effective IT project team.
• Diligent, focused, and results-oriented.
• A high capacity for problem solving and reasoning
• 3+ years in a business analysis or software implementation role
Desired Skills & Abilities:
• Experience in a Point-of-Sale or eCommerce environment
• Experience leading requirements definition for information systems.
• PMP or CAPM certification a plus.
Education:
• BA/BS Recommended
